TREE NEWS update: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on September 28 that a Russian strike on the building of Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences had killed one person and injured six, including three children. Emergency services were still working at the site. Separately, a medical facility in central Kyiv was struck that afternoon and rescuers were working to extinguish the fire. Russia has not yet responded.
