The launch of a dedicated testnet signals that Glamsterdam has moved from design discussion into implementation, which matters most for client teams and application developers who need lead time to adapt. A public test environment also lets the broader ecosystem observe how the upgrade's features behave under real conditions before any mainnet activation. The open question is how much of the upgrade's scope is actually exercisable on Platåberget at this stage, and whether developer feedback surfaces issues that push the timeline.
