TREE NEWS update: A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Yonaguni Island, Japan, at about 14:00 local time on the 30th, Japan’s Meteorological Agency said. The quake’s hypocenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers, and the maximum seismic intensity recorded was 3 on Japan’s scale.
