China’s State Council Approves National Disability Prevention Action Plan 2026-2030

TREE NEWS update: China’s State Council has approved in principle the National Disability Prevention Action Plan (2026-2030), which sets out six major actions covering public education, prevention of birth defects and developmental disorders, full-chain disease-caused disability prevention, injury prevention in key sectors, rehabilitation service upgrades and capacity building. The plan targets a more complete disability prevention policy system and control network by 2030.
