TREE NEWS reports: China’s autumn grain harvest has passed the halfway mark nationwide, according to the latest crop progress report from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. By region, the southwest is 75% complete, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River over 50%, the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain over 60%, the northwest 55%, and the northeast 35%.
