Scotiabank: Anthropic IPO Would Turn Alphabet and Amazon Stakes Into Publicly Priced Assets

TREE NEWS reports: Scotiabank estimates that at a $1.5 trillion valuation, Anthropic’s equity would be worth about $16 per share to Alphabet, roughly 5% of its stock value, and about $27 per share to Amazon, nearly 10% of its stock value. The bank said an Anthropic IPO would convert one of the largest private AI holdings on both companies’ balance sheets into a publicly priced asset, with Amazon benefiting more from the stake. Canada May Force Cleveland-Cliffs to Sell Ontario Steel Plant
