Norwegian PM: US envoy Witkoff to return to Oslo from St. Petersburg today

The operative fact here is the itinerary itself: a US envoy moving from St. Petersburg to Oslo in a single day, disclosed by Norway's prime minister rather than Washington or Moscow. That routing implies a Nordic channel is being used alongside direct US-Russia contact, though the absence of any stated purpose or outcome means the substance remains unverified. For markets with Nordic or Arctic exposure, the open question is whether this signals a broader diplomatic track or a one-off stopover — and whether any readout follows.
