TREE NEWS update: Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez repeatedly invoked UN General Assembly Rule 71 to interrupt US Ambassador Mike Waltz during a debate on ending the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba on October 27. Waltz had claimed the US does not blockade Cuba. Cuba’s delegation banged on tables and stood in protest, and voices shouted “liar” and “let Cuba live” as Waltz left the podium.
