TREE NEWS update: Volvo Cars said text messages circulating about a “Takata airbag recall” were not issued by the company, in a statement denying the recall rumors. Official Volvo recall notices will never ask owners to provide bank card numbers or verification codes, or to transfer or pay money under any name, the company said.
