China approves subcutaneous auto-injector for Alzheimer’s drug Leqembi

Eisai’s Alzheimer’s drug lecanemab (Leqembi) has been approved in China for subcutaneous auto-injector use, enabling at-home initial treatment for early-stage Alzheimer’s. The National Medical Products Administration granted approval, making China the second country globally and the first in Asia to allow the device, following US approval in July.
