TREE NEWS update: The Dutch central bank announced on September 2 that it transferred about 86 tonnes of gold reserves from New York and Ottawa to London between March and August, via market transactions and physical shipments. The bank said the move aims to strengthen crisis response capabilities, citing London’s advantages as a global physical gold trading hub with high liquidity and low execution friction. It expressed confidence in remaining gold held in North America and has no further relocation plans.
