TREE NEWS reports: CFTC data for the week ended Sept. 1 shows speculators increased net long NYMEX WTI crude oil positions by 15,046 contracts to 119,619, a 12-week high. Combined Brent and WTI net longs hit a 15-week high, while net longs in NYMEX gasoline reached a nine-month high.
