TREE NEWS update: The China Development Bank (CDB) has successfully issued 5 billion yuan (about $690 million) in 3-year green financial bonds through the Shanghai Clearing House, with a coupon rate of 1.27%. This marks the first time CDB used an online bookbuilding process for green bond issuance, enhancing efficiency and transparency. Proceeds will fund green infrastructure upgrades, energy-saving and carbon-reduction industries, and ecological restoration.
