TREE NEWS update: At 1:32 a.m. on September 5, Jiangxi Provincial Hydrological Monitoring Center upgraded the flood orange alert. Due to heavy rainfall, the Ganjiang River at Ji’an urban section is expected to exceed warning level by about 2.7 meters within 13 hours. Water levels at Xiajiang and Zhangshu sections continue to rise, with flows around 13,800 and 12,800 cubic meters per second respectively.
