Goldman Warns Oil Could Hit $120 on Middle East Shipping Attacks

Goldman Sachs said oil prices could rise to $120 per barrel if attacks on ships in the Middle East escalate further. Daan Struyven, co-head of global commodities research, noted that risks of wider shipping disruption are not negligible. He advised investors to hedge geopolitical risk by going long global gas and refined products, which face larger supply shocks than crude.
