Asia Markets Mixed, German Far-Right Wins State Vote

Asia-Pacific markets were mixed on Monday, with Seoul’s KOSPI surging 4% intraday and Nikkei 225 up over 2%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell nearly 1%. In Germany, the far-right AfD won a historic victory in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt. China’s ChiNext rose 2.63% as computing hardware stocks rallied. Separately, Moore Threads responded to its stock price limit-down, citing compliance and improving operations.
