Indonesian airports shut by volcano eruption, over 340,000 travelers affected

Indonesia’s transport ministry said on March 7 that multiple airports, including Jakarta’s main Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, remain closed due to the eruption of Mount Anak Krakatoa. The ministry’s latest data shows more than 340,000 travelers have been affected. It is unclear when the affected airports will fully resume operations.
