TREE NEWS update: On September 8, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) released its 2026 Global Innovation Index, ranking the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou cluster first among the world’s top 100 innovation clusters for the second consecutive year. The Macau-Zhuhai cluster also made the top 100 for the third straight year, underscoring the Greater Bay Area’s growing global standing in tech innovation.
