China Pork Prices Rise for 4th Week; Gains Seen Limited

Pork prices in China rose for a fourth consecutive week, with wholesale prices at Beijing’s Xinfadi market reaching 14 yuan per kg on Sept 8, up 12% from Aug 1. Analysts attribute the rise to cooling weather boosting demand and lower breeding sow inventories, but expect limited further gains.
