Turkey, Russia Sign Deal to Boost Fertilizer Imports

Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding with Russia on Tuesday to expand nitrogen fertilizer imports and overcome difficulties sourcing urea from Persian Gulf producers. The agreement exempts Turkey from Russian export restrictions on nitrogen, phosphorus and ammonia, securing fertilizer and raw material supplies.
