TREE NEWS reports: Spot gold fell 1.06% to $4,357.62/oz at New York close Tuesday, after hitting a daily high of $4,442.96 in Asia. Silver slipped 0.68% to $65.7189/oz. COMEX copper gained 1.36% to $6.7735/lb, approaching the Aug 6 high of $6.96.
