Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy wins China approval for MASH with liver fibrosis

This matters less as a weight-loss story than as a metabolic-disease one: approval in a non-cirrhotic MASH population with moderate-to-severe fibrosis positions GLP-1RAs in a liver indication where treatment options have been thin, and it hands Novo an early-mover claim in China's MASH segment.
