Witkoff, Kushner to Meet Ukraine Team, European Security Advisers in New York

The presence of British, French and German national security advisers alongside Witkoff and Kushner signals that any de-escalation framework is being treated as a European security question, not a bilateral US-Ukraine track. That broadening of the table matters more than the proposal itself, since it tests whether Washington's envoy channel can carry allied buy-in rather than bypass it. Whether the European advisers are there to shape terms or merely to be briefed is the open question.
