TREE NEWS update: China’s overall myopia rate among primary and secondary school students has declined for five consecutive years, Vice Minister of Education Wang Guangyan said on Sept. 23 at a State Council Information Office briefing. He said the country has built the world’s largest and quality education system, with two hours of daily comprehensive physical activity and 15-minute breaks now fully implemented in schools.
