TREE NEWS reports: The Sandbox said it contained a bridge exploit that minted unbacked SAND tokens on Base and BSC. South Korean exchanges Upbit and Bithumb froze SAND transfers under local law, halting deposits and withdrawals on Ethereum, which the studio says was unaffected.
