Ondo Finance Launches Tokenized Private-Markets Platform, Starting With AI

Ondo's push into tokenized private-market notes signals that RWA issuers are moving beyond Treasuries and funds into the harder-to-access end of the market: pre-IPO equity. That matters less for the AI exposure itself than for the access question, since private-company stakes have historically been gated to institutional and accredited buyers, and a token wrapper is a claim about who gets to hold them. The critical unknowns are structural, not thematic: no deal size, pricing or launch date leaves the legal wrapper, custody and secondary-transfer mechanics entirely opaque.
