The framing of the first phase around new energy, smart manufacturing and embodied intelligence is the signal worth noting: Canton Fair positioning has become a proxy for where China wants export attention to go. For cross-border suppliers, buyers and the logistics and payments layers that serve them, the relevant question is whether advanced-manufacturing categories draw the same order flow that legacy consumer goods once did.
