TREE NEWS reports: The yen gained ground in New York trading on Wednesday, with the dollar falling 0.78% to 158.92 yen, after touching a low of 158.22 and a high of 160.39. The euro and pound also weakened against the yen, down 0.84% and 1.01% respectively. Meanwhile, the dollar edged up 0.19% against the Swiss franc.
