TREE NEWS reports: China’s CDC reported that during week 35 (Aug 24-30, 2026), influenza virus was the top respiratory pathogen in outpatient sentinel samples at 17.7% positivity, followed by COVID-19 at 15.8% and rhinovirus at 2.8%. Flu activity has risen slightly, while COVID-19 positivity continues to decline.
