TREE NEWS update: ChangXin Memory Technologies has begun mass production of its self-developed LPDDR6 chips, debuting commercially in Xiaomi’s 18 Fold foldable flagship smartphone. This marks the first global commercial deployment of LPDDR6 in a flagship phone. The chip features 16Gb per die, 16GB package capacity, and a peak speed of 12800Mbps, delivering 60% higher bandwidth than LPDDR5X while consuming 20% less power.
