The event is not just a stunt. It signals a growing conviction in tech circles that AI agents are moving from assistive tools to autonomous economic actors — a shift with direct implications for crypto, where on-chain agents already manage treasuries, execute trades, and deploy capital.

Why This Matters for Crypto and AI Convergence

The crypto industry has spent the last two years building infrastructure for exactly this kind of scenario. Decentralized compute networks like Akash and Render provide GPU power for training and inference. Agent frameworks such as Autonolas and Fetch.ai allow AI models to hold wallets, sign transactions, and interact with smart contracts.
