H100 Group CEO Eirik Grøttum acquired 407,163 shares through Kode Oslo AS for roughly 621,900 Swedish kronor, reinforcing his conviction in the Nordic bitcoin treasury model. The company now holds 3,506 BTC, positioning it among Europe's larger corporate bitcoin holders.

H100 CEO Eirik Grøttum Doubles Down With 407,163-Share Purchase

H100 Group CEO Eirik Grøttum has purchased 407,163 shares of the Nordic bitcoin treasury company through his affiliated vehicle Kode Oslo AS, in a transaction valued at approximately 621,900 Swedish kronor. The average purchase price works out to roughly 1.53 kronor per share. The move brings the company’s total bitcoin holdings to 3,506 BTC, cementing its position as one of the more aggressive corporate BTC accumulators in Northern Europe.

Insider Buying as a Signal of Conviction

Insider purchases at bitcoin treasury companies carry outsized signaling value. When a CEO buys with personal or affiliated capital rather than exercising options, it communicates that management views the equity as undervalued relative to the underlying BTC per share. For H100, the math is straightforward: as long as the company can issue shares accretively and convert proceeds into bitcoin, the bitcoin-per-share metric rises even if the fiat share price stays flat. Grøttum’s purchase suggests he believes the current spread between H100’s market capitalization and the value of its 3,506 BTC stack is too wide.

The Nordic Treasury Model Takes Shape

H100 is part of a growing cohort of listed entities — alongside MicroStrategy, Metaplanet, and several smaller players — that have reframed their corporate strategy around bitcoin accumulation. The Nordic angle is notable: Sweden and Norway offer relatively deep capital markets, a sophisticated institutional base, and currency exposure to the Swedish krona, which has weakened against the dollar over the past two years. That dynamic gives H100 a structural tailwind: krona-denominated debt or equity raised to buy dollar-denominated bitcoin benefits from both BTC appreciation and FX translation.

The company’s 3,506 BTC stack places it well below the largest treasury firms but comfortably within the top tier of European holders. At current prices, the holding is worth roughly $300 million depending on the bitcoin price at the time of writing.

What to Watch Next

  • Bitcoin-per-share trajectory: The key metric is whether H100 can keep growing BTC per share without excessive dilution.
  • Financing structure: Watch for convertible debt, ATM programs, or preferred offerings that fund further purchases.
  • Premium/discount to NAV: A persistent discount would make further equity issuance accretive to existing holders but harder to execute.
  • Nordic peer activity: Other Scandinavian listed companies may follow H100’s template, creating a regional treasury cohort.

The broader implication is that the bitcoin treasury company model is no longer a US-centric phenomenon. As European corporates face low growth, negative real rates in some jurisdictions, and a weakening dollar peg for their currencies, bitcoin on the balance sheet becomes a more rational — if still controversial — capital allocation choice. H100’s CEO is putting his own money behind that thesis.
