TREE NEWS update: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force intercepted and shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone over Qeshm Island at around 10am local time on September 17, Iranian state-affiliated outlet Tasnim reported. Iran said the drone was the 53rd US MQ-9 downed, with the operation carried out using the IRGC’s modern air defense systems.
