정정 및 불만

If you have found a factual error, believe our content infringes your rights, or object to something we have published, this page explains how to reach us. It is the corrections, complaints and reporting channel referred to in Article 8 of the News Flash Disclaimer and Article 7 of the Copyright & Reprints notice.

1. What we handle

  1. Factual corrections: errors in figures, dates, names, organisations or quotations in news flashes and articles.
  2. Copyright and infringement complaints: infringement of copyright, trademark, reputation, privacy or other legitimate rights, with a request to correct, take down or disable a link.
  3. Reports of rule-breaking content: user comments or submissions that breach the law or the conduct rules in Article 4 of the Terms of Service.
  4. Other feedback: concerns about framing, source attribution, AI labelling or Platform features.

2. How to submit

Email tree@treenews.cn with "Correction", "Copyright complaint", "Report" or "DMCA" in the subject line, or leave a message through the Contact page.

3. Please include

  • the full URL of the page concerned and the specific passage;
  • for corrections: the correct information and something we can verify it against (an official announcement, primary document, etc.);
  • for copyright complaints: the rights holder's identity and contact details (individuals: name, identity document, contact details; organisations: name, registration documents, authorised representative), proof of rights (copyright registration certificate, proof of first publication, licence documents, etc.), a preliminary description of the infringement and the claim made, and a statement that the notice is truthful and that you accept legal liability for it;
  • your name or organisation and contact details, so that we can report back to you.

4. Process and timing

We verify first. Where a factual error is confirmed, we correct the content and keep an editing record. Where an infringement complaint is confirmed, we take measures required by law such as deletion, blocking or disabling the link, and forward the notice to the user concerned where user content is involved. Where rule-breaking content is confirmed, we delete, restrict or suspend it under the Terms of Service.

Corrections, complaints and reports are verified and handled within 5 business days; complex cases may take longer and we will keep you informed. Requests concerning personal information rights are answered within 15 business days under Article 9 of the Privacy Policy.

A sender whose incorrect notice causes damage bears liability in accordance with law. Copyright complaints from users in the United States are handled under the DMCA Section 512 "notice – takedown – counter-notice – restoration" procedure; see Article 7 of the Copyright & Reprints notice.
