TREE NEWS update: China launched the Yaogan-40 Group 04 satellites at 16:46 Beijing time on September 24, 2026, from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center aboard a Long March 6A rocket. The satellites entered their planned orbit and the mission was declared a complete success. They will mainly conduct electromagnetic environment detection and related technology tests. The flight was the 670th of the Long March rocket series.
