TREE NEWS update: The Chinese Navy’s 48th escort task group arrived at Yangon Port in Myanmar on the 24th, beginning a five-day goodwill visit. The warships Tangshan, Daqing and Taihu entered the port at around 14:00 local time flying the flags of both countries, with weapons raised to ceremonial angles and sailors lined up on deck to greet the welcoming crowd.
