TREE NEWS update: Russia’s Central Election Commission chair Ella Pamfilova announced the final results of the ninth State Duma elections at a press conference on September 25. The ruling United Russia party won 349 seats, followed by the Communist Party with 37, the Liberal Democratic Party with 23, New People with 19, A Just Russia with 17, Rodina with 1, and four self-nominated candidates with one seat each.
