Satellite images show Saudi East-West pipeline partly back online

The East-West line matters less as a Saudi export route than as the only meaningful bypass of the Strait of Hormuz, so even a partial restart changes the risk calculus for anyone pricing Gulf supply disruption. The signal here is physical rather than rhetorical: tanker loadings are harder to obscure than official statements, which makes the Red Sea coast a useful tell on how much capacity is genuinely back. Whether flows hold at the reported level, or prove a temporary drawdown of stored crude, is the open question.
