TREE NEWS update: Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said on October 8 that Iran will not abandon uranium enrichment or hand over the uranium it holds. “Enrichment is an indispensable part of the nuclear process and we will never give it up in any way,” Eslami said, adding that without the starting point of that process there could be no claim to a nuclear industry.
