TREE NEWS update: Russia’s Defense Ministry said on the 8th that its forces took control of a settlement in the Kharkiv region and are continuing combat operations to capture two more settlements there. The ministry also said a Russian drone hit a dry cargo ship at sea that was carrying supplies for Ukrainian forces as it headed to Chornomorsk port in Odesa.
