TREE NEWS update: The World Health Organization said on its website on the 10th that it has found no evidence of sustained transmission linked to the illness and death of a worker at a plague-control research institute in Irkutsk, Siberia. The WHO said Russia had notified it of the case, but the pathogen causing the fatal disease has not yet been identified.
