Hugging Face says all LFM3 models are open-weight, live on platform today

The signal here is distribution rather than disclosure: an entire model family arriving as open weights on the platform where developers already build, with no sizing or licensing detail attached. That omission matters, since open-weight claims carry different practical weight depending on how the terms treat commercial reuse. The immediate effect lands on developers choosing a base model and on the competitive pressure it puts on other open-weight releases. Whether the missing licensing specifics arrive soon, and how the family is actually adopted, is the open question worth watching.
