TREE NEWS update: Wang Huning, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, met separately in Beijing on December 2 with Valentina Matviyenko, speaker of the Russian Federation Council, and with a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Nguyen Thanh Nghi, a member of the CPV Central Committee Politburo and head of its Central Policy and Strategy Department.
