Cronos Halts Blockchain After $75M Tectonic Exploit

TREE NEWS reports: An attacker exploited Tectonic, a lending protocol on Cronos, by inflating its governance token’s value and borrowing against it, resulting in a $75 million loss. In response, Cronos validators froze the entire network to mitigate further damage.
