TREE NEWS update: At the 2026 World Power Battery Conference in Yibin on Sept 3, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Xiong Jijun said the ministry will support industry players in breaking through technologies for all-solid-state, sodium-ion and lithium-metal batteries. The push aims to accelerate R&D of new material systems and process structures to improve energy density, safety and durability of power batteries.
