TREE NEWS update: China’s first ‘Token loan’ product for the token economy has been launched in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, with Bank of China’s Guangzhou branch extending about 28 million yuan in credit to related firms. Other banks, including China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of Jiangsu, Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, and Zhangjiagang Rural Commercial Bank, have also introduced compute-related credit products, incorporating computing power and token consumption into credit assessments.
