China Regulator Proposes New Disclosure Rules for Banks, Insurers

China’s National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) has issued draft measures on information disclosure for banks and insurance institutions, now open for public comment. The rules require these institutions to disclose details of financial products and services, including standard names, product types, transaction structures, rights and obligations, income distribution, fees, innovative designs, and risk levels, in accordance with laws and regulations.
