Shenzhen ‘virtual power plant town’ solar project achieves ‘four capabilities’ grid connection

TREE NEWS update: Phase II of the photovoltaic project in Shenzhen’s ‘virtual power plant town’ passed full-function commissioning and acceptance on March 3, achieving ‘observable, measurable, adjustable, and controllable’ grid connection. It is the city’s first demonstration project aggregating distributed solar via a virtual power plant, marking a new stage in Southern Power Grid’s distributed resource regulation.
