TREE NEWS update: China’s Ministry of Natural Resources upgraded its geological disaster defense response for Jiangxi Province from Level IV to Level III on September 5 at 11:00, following a suspected debris flow in Ji’an. A working group led by a department-level official has been dispatched to the site to guide rescue and relief efforts. The decision was made under the Ministry’s Geological Disaster Defense Response Work Plan.
