Greece unveils €2.2B support package for 2027

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a €2.2 billion economic package to ease the cost-of-living crisis. The measures target self-employed workers, pensioners, farmers, and families with multiple children, and include a minimum wage increase. The government expects the 2026 budget to exceed targets, allowing subsidies and tax cuts without endangering fiscal stability.
